I Love Hero Arts-Day Three-GIVEAWAY

Hi there. It’s already the third day of the week long celebration of one of my favorite stamp companies, Hero Arts. I worked with the latest My Monthly Hero kit for Day One, but today’s cards features last month’s kit goodies… I wanted to create some simple thank you cards to have on hand. I used the large thank you sentiment stamp as the focal point and inked it up with different Distress inks....

It makes me melt. 😉 It’s a layering stamp set but I chose to...

Having experienced two miscarriages during my infertility journey, this cause is so special to me and I wanted to...

Holiday Card Series 2015- Day 5

Hello. Today I’m back with another holiday themed card using some products from Hero Arts… When I opened THIS stamp set, I flipped some of the pine branch images in a different direction than how they were mounted to create my own custom background. I kept them on the acetate sheet they came on and inked them up with THIS, THIS and THIS color of Distress Inks. I lightly misted water on top of...

2015 Holiday Card Series…

It has inspired me to get a head start on creating holiday cards. I’ve decided to share a holiday themed card every Tuesday and Thursday...

Camouflage Die-Cutting featuring Ombre Ink Pads (Giveaway too)

Hello! Today I have five cards that feature a technique that I like to call, “Camouflage Die-Cutting”. I will also be showing how to use the Hero Arts Ombre’ Ink Pads in a simple way. Here are the cards… The reason I call it “Camoflauge Die-Cutting” is because you die-cut the image from the background and when it’s adhered back into place, it almost appears hidden in the design. It blends right in.  To...

Simple Card Set using New Products

Hello! I created a simple card set using some new products… I started by cutting three pieces of Neenah Cardstock using THIS stitched frame die. I stamped THIS awesome Hero Arts background stamp using some new Distress Ink Colors (Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio, and Abandoned Coral) . I spritzed the stamp lightly with water after inking, right before stamping, to get a watercolor look. I heat embossed sentiments from three new Hero Arts stamp sets...
