Be Bold Release Blog Hop

Hey there, crafty friends. Today’s card set is part of THIS Blog Hop celebrating THIS new release…

To create the first card…

I started by applying blue ink through THIS stencil on the front of a top folding note card. I added a strip of blue cardstock along the bottom and rounded the two bottom corners. Next, I stamped the images (and sentiment) from THIS stamp set, colored them with Copic Markers, and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out.

I applied THIS and THIS on the images to add some sparkle and shine. Here’s a closer look…
For the second card…

I applied ink through the same stencil but with a teal ink on the front of a mini slimline card. I added a strip of gray cardstock along the bottom. I stamped, colored, and cut out the sundae image and sentiment from THIS same stamp set as the first card.

I applied sparkle and shine to this card as well…

There is much more inspiration to see…

I’m totally inspired by your use of color strips to ground images. I’ve tried to do that with more saturated ink, but your way is much more effective. Thanks for the tip!

My but you’ve been busy – such an array of lovely cards!! Love the white on white embossed Mother’s Day card – so elegant, especially with the addition of the embossing on the envelope flap.
