Be Bold Release

Hi again, crafty friends. Today’s card features products from THIS new release from Simon Says Stamp…

To create this card, I started by dry embossing THIS stencil with a piece of THIS watercolor cardstock. By using THIS embossing mat in my die cut machine, the pattern of the stencil presses into the paper. It’s a great technique to get more out of your stencils. Next, I die cut THIS die from the same white watercolor cardstock four times and adhered them together for dimension. I adhered one of the die cuts towards the top and one towards the bottom of the card to create a full background. I flicked on a bit of THIS gold ink with a paintbrush to add a bit of interest.

I finished off the card by adding THIS die cut word in the center. I cut it from THIS gold cardstock and the shadow from vellum. I gold heat embossed THIS sub sentiment. Here’s a closer look…

I also embossed the flap of THIS gold envelope with the same stencil to tie everything together…

I just love the look of the white die cuts on the embossed white background. It gives such an elegant look.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
