Celebrate Release Blog Hop

Hi there, crafty friends. Today’s cards are part of THIS Blog Hop celebrating THIS new release…

For the first card….

…I started with the background. I applied three colors of Distress ink through THIS stencil on a piece of THIS watercolor paper. I went over the design with the same colors to add color to the entire background. I spritzed it with water to create some texture…

I added THIS die cut sentiment along with THESE printed sentiments and finished off the design with THESE die cut stars. I added one of THESE die cut frames. I also used the same stencil to dry emboss the flap of the envelope by using THIS embossing mat in my die cut machine…

For the second card…

I spritzed the leftover ink on the stencil from the first background and laid it on another white panel of watercolor cardstock for a watercolor look. I stamped and copic colored THIS image and used THESE coordinating dies to cut it out. I adhered the image to the background along with THIS die cut sentiment and another one of THESE printed sentiments. I finished it off with the same stars as the first card as well as the same frame die cut.

Here’s a closer look…

There is much more inspiration to see…

I struggle with father’s day cards and masculine cards in general. And then I saw all the other cards. You shared so many great card ideas! Thanks for sharing!
