Rainbow Backgrounds

Hi there, crafty friends. Today’s cards all have rainbow backgrounds…

For the first card…

I inked up THIS stencil with a rainbow of distress inks to create a colorful sky. I used THIS die to create a border around the panel. I stamped and colored the sun image from THIS stamp set and used THESE coordinating dies to cut it out. I added some of THIS on top of the balloon for some shine and added a coordinating sentiment from the same stamp set.

For the next card…

I inked up THIS stencil with same ink colors. I stamped and colored the llama from THIS stamp set and used THESE coordinating dies to cut it out. I added THIS die word along the bottom of the card. I used THIS stamp set for the rest of the sentiment as well as the party hat image. I finished off the card with some of THESE.

For the last card…

I sprayed the ink that was left on THIS stencil from the previous card with THIS spray and then laid it on a piece of paper, creating a light grid background. I cut the panel using THIS die and added THESE pretzels inside with a coordinating sentiment. I added THIS sentiment along the bottom and finished off the design with a few of THESE presents and party hats.

I hope this inspires you to break out your stencils and a rainbow of inks to make some colorful backgrounds.

I’ll be back soon with more crafty projects to share. Have a great day.
