Distress Watercolor Pencils Stamping

Hi, crafty friends. I’m back with another project featuring THESE Distress Watercolor Pencils. I recently took THIS class by Jenn Shurkus and have been inspired to play with my pencils more. Today’s card features coloring a solid stamp image with the pencils and stamping the image to get a faux watercolor look…

I started by creating the background. I inked up THIS slimline stencil with a rainbow of Distress Inks. I spritzed the stencil with water and laid the stencil on a piece of Bristol cardstock. For the balloons, I scribbled on the solid balloon stamp from THIS stamp set with THESE Distress Watercolor Pencils. I spritzed it with water and stamped the balloon images on a piece of THIS Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I did it multiple times to get a more vibrant color. I used THESE coordinating dies to cut out the balloon and strings.

I stamped sentiments from the same stamp set on the larger balloon. I die-cut THESE stars and THESE bows from holographic paper for some shine…

I also applied ink through THIS stencil on the flap of the envelope to tie everything together…

Thank you so much for visiting today. Happy crafting!
