Coloring with Distress Watercolor Pencils

Hello, crafty friends. I have a bright and bold card to share today. I recently took THIS class by Jenn Shurkus and it has made me fall back in love with my Distress Watercolor Pencils

To create this card, I stamped THIS background with black pigment ink and then clear heat embossed it. I colored in the image with THESE Distress Watercolor Pencils. I colored heavy in one corner and then used a bit of water to pull the color out to the edge of the image. Once the image was dry, I cut it up into four squares and adhered it to a card base created from THIS specialty Black Glossy cardstock. I stamped THIS sentiment with the same black pigment ink and clear embossed it. I cut it out using THIS coordinating die.

Here’s a closer look…
I stamped and clear embossed the flap of the envelope and colored in just a few of the images to tie everything together…

Thank you so much for visiting today. Happy crafting!
