Happy STAMPtember, crafty friends! The STAMPtember fun continues with a blog party! I’m thrilled to be part of it and I’m sharing a couple of cards celebrating THIS new STAMPtember release from Simon Says Stamp…
For the first card…
I applied drops of Distress Paint along the side of an A2 white panel. Using THIS tool, I drug the paint across the paper creating a fun background. I stamped THIS sentiment and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. I also stamped a sub sentiment below from THIS stamp set that I also stamped the main images from. I colored those images with Copic Markers and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. I added THIS and THIS to some of the images for some sparkle and shine. I also stamped THIS background stamp on the flap of the envelope.
For the second card…
I used the remaining images from the same stamp set and adhered them to a background that I ink blended and used THIS die to add some texture. I stamped the sentiment at an angle and stamped THIS background stamp on the envelope. I also added the fairies on to the card with THESE to make them wiggle to resemble flying.

I’ve been looking for the Simon Says giveaway but have enjoyed seeing the variety of cards you made. I love cheerful colors on cards. There was a flower card that had a bright yellow and it was a WOW card.

Dear Heather –
I always know that when I get to this hop stop, I will be treated to a ton of different cards and that they will all be fabulous. No reason to stop assuming that today, lemme tell ya! I love the fairy cards (so precious), the “too cute to spook” (fa-BOO-lous). The card w/ the holly is elegant and the one w/ the pretty butterflies is full of colorful goodness. The Floral Whimsy card is lovely and the Happy Happy Halloween card is adorable… love the purple glitter sentiment. You always lavish so much creativity on us! Thanks from a devotee!
