STAMPtember 2022 Release Inspiration

Hi there, crafty friends. I’m back with more inspiration from THIS STAMPtember release from Simon Says Stamp…

I started by creating the background. I applied ink through THIS stencil on a piece of yellow card stock for a tone on tone look. Next, I stamped and Copic colored an image from THIS stamp set and used THESE coordinating dies to cut it out. I white heat embossed a sentiment from the same stamp set on a die-cut circle and added a red die cut heart.

Since the die-cut cuts a hole in the center of the image, I adhered a large button in the center of the card and laid the die cut around it. I did not put any glue on the die cut. I adhered the sentiment circle on top of the button and that makes the pencil image spin.

I also stamped that same image on the front of the envelope to tie everything together…

I hope this has inspired you to create a simple interactive card.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
