Winter Mitten Gift Card Holder

Hey there, crafty friends. I’m not a fan of winter but I am a fan of THIS mitten die. I used it to create a gift card holder…

To create this card, I die cut THIS mitten die from shades of peach cardstock. I cut the top of the mitten using white cardstock and added snowflakes cut from THIS die. I stamped a sentiment from THIS stamp set on the top part of the mitten using gray ink. I cut another solid mitten piece to adhere under the top one to create a spot for a gift card…

I adhered everything down to a note card covered in THIS patterned paper and dry embossed with THIS embossing folder. I used THIS to sand the pattern and reveal the white core of the paper to add some interest. I added a scallop strip on the top and bottom using THIS die. I finished off the design by adding pearls to the center of the snowflakes.

I used the same embossing folder on the flap of the envelope to tie everything together…

I hope this inspires you to create a card that hold a gift card.

Thanks for visiting today. Happy crafting!
