SSS Encouraging Words Blog Hop- Part 2

Hi, friends. I’m thrilled to be taking part in the SSS Encouraging Words Blog Hop. THIS release is full of awesome product, but THIS is my favorite. The images are adorable and I used all of the critters to create these cards…

For all the cards, I used a partial embossing technique to create a focal point on each card. I haven’t reached for my embossing folders in awhile, so I broke them out and dry embossed two sides of each card, leaving the center flat to create a focal point.

I stamped each coordinating sentiments multiple times to draw attention to the images and give them a place to “sit”. Here’s a closer look at each card…

I used a portion of THIS scalloped die to add some interest to the bottom of this card….

I did the same with this card, but used a portion of THIS die along the bottom…

THIS embossing folder is my favorite. It gives an awesome 3-D effect (which is hard to photograph but it so cool in real life)…

I hope you give this partial embossing a try. It gives great dimension without the bulk.

Wow, all of the cards are so cute! I have never tried embossing on each side and leaving the middle empty but I am definitely going to give that a try.
