*THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR THE DAY, IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR THE LITTLE TANGLES CHALLENGE POST, CLICK HERE*
I have another card today featuring THIS stamp set that I’ve been using all week in celebration of Stamptember over at Simon Says Stamp. I hope this gives you ideas on how you can stretch your stamps!
I think the sentiment is so fun! I wanted to create a scene that coordinated with it so I used THIS stamp set and stamped it on a kraft panel using THIS ink. I cleaned my stamp and stamped the same image on top of the purple using VersaMark ink and sprinkled on some clear embossing powder. After I heat set that, I did the same process for the smaller splat that comes in the set. I wanted to give it a “wet” look to resemble jelly. While I had my embossing tools out, I heat embossed the sentiment in the lower, right hand corner in white.
Now for the jelly donut…
I created the donut the same way as I explained in my previous three posts but this time, I put a piece of purple paper behind the donut’s center hole and then “filled” the hole with some glossy accents. It really gives the illusion of a jelly donut.
I finished off the card by adding a strip of scalloped, patterned paper at the bottom and adhering it to a whtie notecard.
So have I convinced you that you need this stamp set yet? 😉
Be back tomorrow with another card! Thanks for stopping by.
