Christmas Gift Card Holder

Hello again, crafty friends. I have a Christmas card to share today that holds a gift card…

To create this card, I embossed a white A2 panel of cardstock with THIS embossing folder. I die-cut THIS die from the center and cut a white panel of card stock to 3.25 x 5 inches. I adhered the white panel to the back of the embossed panel at the bottom crease line only using THIS strong adhesive. You don’t want to glue anywhere else or you will not be able to slide the card open. I adhered the piece on to a note card covered with THIS patterned paper using THIS foam adhesive. The card seems to slide better when there is dimension in between.

I stamped a circle die cut with THIS pull message and adhered it to the top of the sliding piece. I cut a small strip of cardstock to go on the bottom of the front panel and stamped a sentiment from THIS stamp set. I also added an image from THIS stamp set that I colored with Copics and used THESE coordinating dies to cut out.

I added a gift card to the inside that is revealed with the tab is pulled…

When I added the pull tab to the top of the card, it made it too big to fit inside a standard A2 envelope so I used one of THIS 5×7 envelopes. I applied white ink through THIS stencil on the flap of the envelope to tie everything together…

Thank you so much for visiting. Happy crafting!
