Cookie Themed Christmas Gift Idea

Hi there, crafty friends. If you have followed me for awhile then you know how much I adore teachers. I thought it would be fun to share what I’m giving to them for Christmas this year…

I decided to go with a cookie themed gift this year. I wanted to add a handmade touch to them so I created tags from THIS die. I cut the baking sheet from THIS specialty cardstock and the cookie dies from cream and red cardstock. After I adhered the cookie shapes together, I drizzled THIS back and forth on top to resemble icing. I adhered all of the pieces down to the baking sheet along with a sentiment from THIS die set. I added a few of THESE candy canes and some of THESE peppermints to finish off the front.

Here’s a closer look…

For the back of the tag…

I cut the same cookie sheet die from THIS patterned paper, cut it in half, and used one half for each tag. I adhered it along the bottom of the back of the tag but only adhered it along the three sides. I left the top and middle free of adhesive so I could slip in a gift card. I tied the tag to the loop of the oven mitt.

Here is everything I put in the cookie gift and where I purchased it…

Oven Mitt, Spatula, Cookie Cutter, Candy-Target
Cookie Mix-Dollar Store

I hope this has inspired you to create one of these cookie themed gifts for the Holidays. I think they would make great neighbor gifts too!
