Just a Note Release Blog Hop

Hello there, crafty friends. I’m thrilled to be part of THIS Blog Hop celebrating THIS new release. I have two teacher thank you cards to share today because I’m a big fan of teachers and want to have lots of them on hand for the upcoming school year…

To create these cards, I applied ink through THESE layering stencils to create the background on each card. I used Distress Oxide inks on both. I like using Oxide inks on colored cardstock because the color remains vibrant because of its pigment properties. I added THIS large a+ die as well as THIS die cut and THIS and THIS printed sentiments.

For the first card…

I die cut the background pattern using THIS scalloped die. I also spritzed THIS on the a+ die cut for some sparkle.

Here’s a closer look…

For the second card…

I kept the design as is on a A2 kraft panel. I rounded the corners and stamped THIS background stamp on the flap of each envelope.

There is much more inspiration to see…

Cute cards. I agree that we need to show love to teachers. My favorite is the scalloped one. Love that it’s a little different from the norm. I also like your “bonus” card-the sentiments on the pencils are perfect, and I love that they can be changed out. Thanks for the ideas.
