Born to Sparkle Release Blog Hop

Hi, crafty friends. I’m excited to be part of THIS blog hop celebrating THIS new release from Simon Says Stamp.

So, I’m a big fan of when one technique turns into two cards. Today’s cards are a great example of that…

To create these cards, I inked up my Gel Press with three colors of Distress Oxide ink. I die-cut the coordinating die from the Spring Bouquets stamp set and laid the white die-cut on top of the ink on the gel press. I stamped the remaining ink on a white 5×7 panel. In the white space of the ink panel, I stamped the coordinating image from the Spring Bouquets stamp set. I die-cut the Congrats on the line die from black card stock and added VersaMark on top. I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder to give it lots of shine….

I finished off the design with a sprinkling of black enamel dots.

For the second card…

I adhered the colored die-cut piece from the first card and adhered it to a 5×7 black card base. I die-cut the larger congrats from the same die set as the first card and clear heat embossed it just like the first card. This gives it a glossy embellishment look…

I finished off the design with a sprinkling of pearls.
