Hello there, crafty friends. Today’s cards feature some of the new stencils from the STAMPtember release…
There are so many techniques that you can do with stencils. I went back to one I did a long time ago and that’s creating shimmery backgrounds using Perfect Pearls. I started by taping down my stencil with THIS tape on top of colored card stock, that I rubbed with THIS to remove any static/oils. I used THIS sponge dauber to apply THIS clear ink through the stencil. After removing the stencil, I added THESE perfect pearls on top of the wet ink with THIS brush. The results are hard to capture in a picture but stunning in real life.
All three cards feature sentiments from THIS stamp set along with THIS coordinating die set.
Instead of using white card stock, I used THIS gray card stock. I also chose colored ink for my sentiments instead of black for something fun and different.
I hope you give this technique a try. I used the Perfect Pearl color but there are many other Perfect Pearl colors HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
