Hello again, crafty friends. I have two cards to share today that feature new products from Picket Fence…
For the first card, I stamped THIS houndstooth background in black on a white piece of card stock. I stamped and colored THIS girl using my Copic markers and used THIS coordinating die to cut it out. I also cut out the coordinating die with THIS fun foam to adhere behind the image for extra dimension. I stamped a sentiment from THIS stamp set on a strip of colored card stock and adhered it vertically. I finished off the card by adding some of THIS to her glasses…
For the second card, I used these markers and colored in THIS fish stencil in rainbow order on a piece of THIS watercolor card stock. The markers react with water similar to watercolor so I sprayed the colored fish images heavily and let the color bleed, creating a rainbow background. To add some texture and define the fish images, I laid the stencil back into place and added THIS on top. I love the dimension it adds. I finished off the card by white heat embossing THIS sentiment on black card stock.

Both of your cards are very cool Heather! Music and Color keep me sane so I have to go with Color Heals The Soul as a top favorite from this release but it’s hard not to love I Snorted too LOL. (I thought I had already left a comment but didn’t see it when I came back to this page, so it this turns out to be a second post I’m sorry.)

This is a fabulous release, picking only 1 favorite is impossible. It’s a toss up between ‘Color Can Heal the Soul’ (which touches my heart) and ‘I Snorted’ which did actually make me snort LOL. Both of your cards are awesome today, I really love the rainbow fish card and how you did it (I can’t wait to try your technique). Thanks as always for the inspiration 🙂
