Rainbow Christmas Card

Hi, crafty friends. I’m back today with a colorful Christmas card…

I started by stamping three ornaments using THIS stamp set. One on the left, one in the middle, and one on the right hand side. Then I stamped the same image multiple images on THIS masking paper. I cut them out and covered two of the ornaments to stamp an ornament in the center. I used the solid image from the stamp set to “color” in the ornaments using a variety of Distress Oxide inks. I stamped a decoration in the center of each ornament. I flicked on some water droplets for some texture.

I added all of the masks on top of the ornaments and stamped THIS background on top using THIS ink. I slightly trimmed the piece and adhered it to a top folding gray note card. I added the strings to the ornament with THIS marker and THIS ruler. I added THIS on top of the ornaments for some shine and added THIS sentiment below.

I hope this inspires you to use masking on your next project.
