Mini Pizza Box Valentines

Hi, crafty friends. I’m back today to share how I created these mini pizza box valentines…

I’m always looking for unique ways to present a little gift. To create these 4×4 mini pizza boxes, I started with a 12×12 piece of paper and cut it down to 8.25 x 11.5. Then I made lots of score lines.

I put my paper in my scoring tool horizontally and scored at 1 inch, 5.25 inches, 6.25 inches, and 10.5 inches. After placing my paper in vertically, I scored at 1 inch, 2 inches, 6.25 inches, and 7.25 inches.

Once all the scoring was done, I cut slits running along some of the score lines as well as cutting out some sections. I have a photo to better explain what that process looks like…

Key:
Black-Score Lines
X- Cut/Remove pieces
Blue Dash Lines-Cut on Score Line
Square-Apply Adhesive

Here’s what the box will look like before folding…

I creased all the score lines well and adhered the box together. I used a circle punch to punch a half circle on the front flap of the box to create a place for the recipient to open. I added a bit of THIS ink along the edges and cut out a few patterned papers with THIS die. I stamped, cut and colored a pizza from THIS set and adhered it to the top of the box along with THIS heart and a patterned paper square. I stamped a coordinating sentiment from the same stamp set to finish it off.

For a couple of the boxes, I added a gift card inside to a pizza place….

For the other boxes, I added some fun pizza erasers…

I’m going to write my message on the lid of the box on the inside.

Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope this has inspired you to create a mini pizza box.
