Hi, crafty friends. I’m sharing a few tags that feature a fun way to present a gift…
THESE lip balm pouches are so fun. I thought they would make a great Valentine’s Day gift for the workers at my son’s preschool. I started by applying several shades of yellow ink through THIS stencil on some white tags. I die-cut THIS coordinating lip balm pouch die in the center of the tag.
I also did some die-cutting to the tag that goes on the back. I used THIS zipper die and die-cut it along the center. I did some partial die-cutting towards the bottom so that the zipper part wouldn’t open before the recipient pulled it. I stamped an instructional greeting using THIS clever set along the strip so it’s clear where to pull. I really wanted a place where they could get to the lip balm without ripping the tag apart.
Next, I adhered the two tags together after tucking the lip balm inside the pouch. I stamped several bees from THIS stamp set, colored them with Copics, and cut them out. I adhered them with dimensional adhesive and added THIS to the wings for some shine. I also added black dots to create a trail behind each one using THIS black glaze pen. I heat embossed a sentiment that I created from THIS and THIS stamp set on to a tag cut with THIS tag. I finished off the tag with some ribbon.
I hope this has inspired you to add a handmade touch to your valentines. Thanks for visiting today. Have a great weekend!
