Scrappy Tails Harvest Blessings Hop

Hello Scrappy Tail Crafters! Welcome to our Harvest Blessings inspiration hop! Hop along for some beautiful autumn and spooktacular Halloween paper crafting inspo featuring new products from our latest August release!

I have a fun, interactive 3D Haunted House card to share today…

I started by cutting the main house portion using THIS die set from gray card stock and stenciling on a brick pattern. I cut the roof from purple carsick and ink blended on top with a dark purple for a darker look. I covered up the scalloped edge of the roof with the shingles die cut for a spookier look.

I die-cut the windows and doors from THIS A7 Storefront Pop Up Card die set as well as THIS A7 Storefront Halloween Add-on die set and adhered them on the house. I also die-cut some of the halloween themed dies from THIS A7 Storefront Halloween Add-on die set to add on to the house and in the windows and doors to create a halloween scene. I also added THIS die cut word to the roof to finish it off.
After the house was completed decorated, I adhered the two gray house pieces together. I die-cut the piece for the roof to be attached from THIS A7 Storefront Pop Up Card die set. I adhered the roof on top and then added THIS A7 Storefront 3D Mechanism for Pop Up Cards dies in the bottom of the house with a rubber band attaching them to create tension. Now, once the recipient pulls the card from the envelope, the card will pop right into shape.

I love how the main die can be used for so many other options. It can be a regular house, a Tiki Surf Shop, a Flower Shop, or a Coffee Shop. You can see those additional add-ons HERE.
