Sunny Days Ahead Card

Hello, crafty friends. I’m back with more inspiration using THIS new release from Simon Says Stamp…

First, I ink blended a white A2 sized panel with a couple of distress inks. I spritzed i with Shimmer Spritz to make it sparkle and let it dry. I die-cut the panel using the Sunburst Die along with a few additional white pieces to layer behind for dimension. I added the face using one of the Sunny Smiles Stencils and black pigment ink. For the background of the card base, I ink blended some clouds. I adhered the sunburst on top and die-cut the Sunny Days ahead die from black card stock and one from black toner sheet. I placed the black toner sheet die-cut with orange foil on top in a carrier sheet and ran it through my laminator. This applies heat and pressure to bond the foil to the die-cut. I adhered the die-cut on top of two black card stock dies, slightly off set, to create a drop shadow effect.

A closer look at all that sparkle and shine…

Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!
