Let’s Connect Release Blog Hop

ETA: This is my second post of the day. If you’re looking for the MISTI/Pinkfresh Blog Hop, click HERE

Hi there, crafty friends. I’m honored to be part of this blog hop celebrating THIS new release…

I started by stamping THIS background stamp on card panels created from THIS card stock using THIS ink. Next, I cut 4×4 squares of colored card stock and stamped the same background with coordinating ink for a tone on tone look. I cut the pieces into one inch strips and that gave me enough strips for four cards. I adhered the strips down with fun foam for dimension.

I stamped images and sentiments from THIS stamp set with THIS ink and clear heat embossed them to add some shine. I used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out and added them to the cards along with sentiments from THESE sentiment strips. I finished off the design with clear droplet embellishments.

Heather!!! THANK YOU for sharing! This is such a unique and easy technique —yet so elegant and fun. I love your unique use of the crackle stamp to create 4 backgrounds so fast. They are so eye catching, creative, and definitely in my “To use” skills box. Perfectly paired with the beautiful Simon Says Stamp stamp and Die set Summer Roses (which I think I MUST have) — brillant set of cards!!!
