First Responder Cards

Hello, crafty friends. I have a couple of cards to share today for first responders…

I started by creating a gatefold card. I started with a 8.5 x 5.5 piece of white card stock and scored it at 2 1/4 inch from both sides. Next, I stamped THIS background stamp on a blue and red A2 panel in coordinating ink for a tone on tone look. I cut each piece in half and adhered them to the gatefold panels.

I heat embossed the police and fire fighter images from THIS stamp set on squares cut with THIS die. I added a sentiment from the same stamp set on top. I added foam tape to only one side of the square and adhered it to one of the gatefold flaps. This allows the card to open freely. I finished off the cards with a sprinkling of THESE die-cut hearts.

I stamped the inside with a sentiment from the same stamp set…

I hope this inspires you to create some cards for your community heroes.

Thank you so much for joining me. Have a great day.

Thank you so much for making cards to honor our Law Enforcement. In a world where they face terrible situations and are consistently disrespected, you give hope with these cards!
