World of Love Card

Hi, crafty friends. I’m back today with another card share…

I stamped THIS background stamp on a blue panel using a rainbow of Distress Oxide Inks. I chose to use Distress Oxide inks instead of regular dye ink because that ink has a pigment property so it stamps vibrant on colored card stock. Also, to ink up the large image with full size ink pads, I just used the corner and swiped the color on. Usually, you dab the ink stamp to the ink pad or the pad to the stamp, but this way gives it some texture when stamping. Once the ink was dry, I die-cut a large circle from THIS die set from the stamped panel and adhered the frame piece down directly on a 5 x 5 white card base. I added some of THIS behind the circle die-cut piece to add dimension.

I finished off the card by adding THIS die-cut sentiment. I die-cut it four times from white card stock and the shadow die from vellum. I added this on top of the letters for some shine, die-cut some hearts from THIS die to replace the top of the “i”, and added a sprinkling of THESE.

Here’s a closer look…

Thanks so much for joining me today. Happy crafting!
