Interactive Anniversary Card with Photos

Howdy, crafty friends. Recently, my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and I thought I would share the card I created for them…

I started by creating the interactive element with THIS die. I die-cut the largest die from the set and reinforced the score lines in both directions. I die-cut the solid square panel and adhered one to the bottom of the die and right next to each score line. I tucked the large flap behind the panel and put THIS tape on the smaller two tabs and folded those behind as well. I adhered it to THIS  scalloped rectangle die cut from THIS gold glitter card stock. I added a pull tab from THIS die set and stamped “pull” from THIS stamp set. I die-cut small photos of my parents using the small stitched square die from the main die set and adhered them to each panel. On the last panel, I added a gift card to my parent’s favorite restaurant…

You can see it in action HERE.

I adhered the gold panel on a black card stock panel that was gold heat embossed with numbers from THIS stamp set. I stamped the happy anniversary sentiment from THIS stamp set and adhered it on top along with one of THESE white enamel hearts.

I hope this inspires you to include photos in your next card design to add that personal touch.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting.
