Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Interactive Christmas Cards

Hi there, crafty friends. I’m thrilled to be a December guest over HERE on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog.

This week’s challenge is Interactive Christmas cards showcasing Lawn Fawn products…

For both cards, I used THIS die to create a flip-book style interactive card. I watched THIS video by Kelly Marie (the owner of Lawn Fawn) when assembling the interactive elements. I have a lot of interactive dies and this one was the easiest to assemble. After die-cutting all of the interactive elements and assembling them, I stamped and colored images from THIS and THIS stamp set. I used THESE and THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. I added all the elements to a scallop rectangle cut with THIS add-on die. I adhered it to a card base after stamping a coordinating sentiment from each set. I also added a pull tab from THIS die set with a sentiment from THIS stamp set.

Here’s a closer look at each card as it flips open…

These are Christmas gifts for my son’s teachers so I added a gift card to the last panel.

Now it’s your turn! We would love to have you join in on the fun and create a project for this week’s them and share it HERE. You have until next Wed 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in.

Also, the generous folks at Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 voucher to one randomly selected winner. You can enter 5 times which means you can make 5 different projects following this week’s prompt and have 5 chances to win a shopping spree.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you can play along!

I love both cards so much! I love the background paper you used with the Santa card.
I think the Flippin awesome die is the easiest to put together too! I even had my 7 year old assemble one for his teacher, and he did a great job!
