More Diecember Inspiration + Quick Crafty Tip

Hello again, crafty friends. I have another card to share featuring some Diecember goodies as well as a quick crafty tip (more on that later). Today’s card is super bright so you may need some sunglasses…

To create the background, I dry embossed THIS new die using THIS embossing mat in my die-cut machine. Instead of cutting, it leaves an impression. I inked up the entire panel with a few yellow distress inks and sprayed it heavily with THIS to add lots of shine. I die-cut THIS die from black and white card stock and adhered them on the background panel.

I sprinkled a few of THESE embellishments around the sentiment and added a vellum strip stamped with a sentiment along the bottom.

Check out that shine in the background…

QUICK CRAFTY TIP:
Before I go, I have a quick crafty tip to share. When working with enamel embellishments, cut them from the plastic sheet and move them around the project until you are happy with the placement. This way the adhesive isn’t exposed yet and the clear plastic backing still allows you to see exactly what it will look like….

I hope this has inspired you to create a dry embossed background using your dies and to try out my quick crafty tip the next time you use enamel embellishments.

Thank you for visiting. Have a great day!
