Father’s Day Card

Howdy, crafty friends. Father’s Day is just around the corner so I wanted to share the card I created for my husband. I love incorporating photos on a card to make the card extra special…

I started by cutting THIS die from a piece of white card stock. I stamped the circles from THIS stamp set along the border to resemble lights. I stamped a sun rays background (the one I used is no longer available. However, THIS stencil would give a similar look) and die-cut it with the same die, cutting the center panel from it to adhere to the front of the first panel. I stamped the coordinating sentiment from the same stamp set and die-cut some of THESE stars to give the recipient a place to pull up the flap. I cut along the perforated lines to make it easier to open. I adhered the piece on to a note card using foam tape.

When the flap is lifted, it reveals a photo…

I stamped the word “dad” on the photo using THIS white ink. I also stamped another sentiment on the inside of the card to tie it all together…

I finished off the card by adding THIS to the lights for some dimension and shine.

I hope this inspires you to add a personalized touch to your next card and add a photo.

I share some other fun cards incorporating photos HERE and HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an awesome day.
