Photo Cards

Hello. I love to add photos to my cards. I think it adds such a personalized touch that is sure to put a smile on the recipient’s face.

To create a frame for the photos, I cut THIS die out of white cardstock and cut the birthday sentiment from the center…It’s a great way to stretch the use of your dies and make what you have work. I did this several times and adhered them together to add some dimension. For the first card…

I stamped a sentiment from THIS set and colored in the open letters using crayons. Yes, crayons. I thought it added to the playful look of the card. I adhered the photo of my mom and son behind the frame and adhered it to the pattern papers cut from THIS paper pad using THIS die. I finished off the card using THESE hearts.

For the second card…

I stamped a sentiment from THIS set and used THESE coordinating dies along the bottom of the frame. I adhered a photo of my hubby and sons to the back of the frame and adhered the piece on top of THESE patterned papers cut with THIS die. I also embellished with THESE hearts.

I hope this inspires you to incorporate a photo into your next card design.
