Intro to Color Theory Class plus Giveaway!

Hi there, crafty friends. Have you heard of THIS class from Online Card Classes? It’s called Introduction to Color Theory and it is fabulous! I struggle sometimes with choosing colors for my projects and this class explains the theory behind color.

I was playing along with the first lesson and watercoloring on a small circle of scrap watercolor card stock and thought it would be cute turned into a card…

Once the watercolor was dry, I embossed a circle with THIS die using THIS embossing mat in my Big Shot machine to create the look of a palette. I stamped the sentiment and paintbrush image from THIS set in the center of the circle. I added THIS behind the circle to add some dimension and adhered it to a 4.25 x 4.25 black card base.

A closer look…

Thanks for the chance to win! Color combo… odd one, and it’s just a recent one, but purple into yellow. Like seedless preserves into wild honey. LOL. 🙂

    HI Heather,
I LOVE oranges, yellows and reds altogether and of course, with those colours, fall is my favourite season!

My favorite colors to work with are blue-greens but find color my most complex crafting challenge since I am moderately color blind (red-green)! Yes, I end up getting color help from my incredible crafting friends (and my husband) during the creative process. This class is intriguing to me as I am seriously considering getting into Copic markers soon. Thanks for this opportunity, happy crafting!!
