Mini Peek-a-Boo Cards featuring Picket Fence release

Hi there, crafty friends. I’m sharing three mini size cards today featuring products from the new Picket Fence release. You can see the entire release HERE.

We recently moved and the only thing I can’t seem to find in the new house is my creative mojo! I decided to shrink down the canvas size on these cards and that really seemed to help. All the cards have a window on them to highlight the adorable new Christmas/Winter images.

For the first card…

I die-cut two pieces of black card stock using THIS die and then stamped a portion of THIS background stamp along the bottom with THIS ink. I die-cut a circle above the buildings to create a window to the inside panel. I adhered a yellow circle on the inside to resemble the moon. I stamped, colored, and cut the reindeer image from THIS new stamp set. I stamped the border along the moon right below the reindeer and added THIS to it for some shine. I also tied one of THESE tiny bells around the reindeer’s neck to coordinate with the sentiment that I stamped on THIS banner.

Here’s a closer look at that peek-a-boo window…

For the second card…

I die-cut THIS die from two pieces of THIS card stock. I masked around the outer portion of the dash lines using THIS tape and then stamped the snowflakes from THIS stamp set and white heat embossed them. I die-cut that same circle window (just like the first card) and adhered a black circle inside. I stamped, colored, and cut out the bear from THIS stamp set and adhered him inside the window. I added a sentiment strip below and added THIS to the bear’s sweater and THIS to his eye and nose to make it pop.

For the last card…

I die-cut THIS die from two pieces of THIS card stock. I stamped THIS background stamp on one of the pieces using THIS ink. I die-cut a window from the front panel using THIS die and added a black square to the inside. I stamped, colored, and cut out the Santa image from THIS new stamp set and adhered him inside the window. I stamped a coordinating sentiment along the bottom. I created cards from all of the pieces by scoring a line at the top of each back panel and adding strong adhesive like THIS above that line to create a hinge.

I hope this has inspired you to create mini sized peek-a-boo cards. They are so much fun and something different and unexpected.

Thanks for joining me today. You can see the entire Picket Fence Studios release HERE.
