Simon Says Stamp Fluttering By Release Blog Hop

Hello, crafty friends. I’m taking part in a fun blog hop today in celebration of Simon Says Stamp’s newest release. You can view the entire release HERE.

I created a clean and simple card set using some of the new products. THIS stamp set is so adorable and I thought it paired nicely with THIS new stamp set.

I started by die-cutting several panels out of white card stock using THIS die. I stamped the patterns from THIS set across the panel.

I stamped all the sea critters using my MISTI and colored them in with Copics. I cut them out using THESE coordinating dies.

I adhered them to the panels using THESE action wobblers.

I added a speech bubble above each critter using one of THESE dies and added a heart die cut in the center. I did this with all the cards except for the star one…

I die-cut THIS new bravo die word several times from yellow card stock and adhered them together to create a dimensional embellishment. I added THIS along the bottom to give an ombre look.

I adhered all of the cards to a coordinating card base and added THIS to the critter’s eyes to make it stand out.

The solid brushstroke image from THIS stamp set made for the perfect snail trail. 🙂 I inked it up with a rainbow of colors for some fun…

Here’s a closer look at the remaining cards…

Again, you can check out the entire release HERE.

Love the use of those two sets. I appreciate the use of the “Make your mark” set, it is a bit abstract for me with out examples, so that is a lovely use of it to highlight the Under the Sea set. That makes me want to get that set now. Love the look of these cards.

Wow! These are so cute! What a great idea to use the Make Your Mark stamp set with the Under the Sea stamp set. They look as if they were designed to go together.
