SSS September 2017 Card Kit

Hi, crafty friends. Today’s card was created using THIS new card kit from Simon Says Stamp…

I used the goodies to create this interactive, rainbow spinner card…

This card is a bit smaller in size. It measures 4×4. I used some of the adorable pattern paper in the kit and die-cut it using THIS die and adhered it to the front of the note card. I used one of THESE circle dies to cut a window in the front. On the inside of the card, I adhered a piece of THIS string using THIS adhesive down the center of the card. I stamped, colored, and cut two rainbow from the stamp set (included in the kit). I adhered them together, sandwiching the string between them. This creates a spinning rainbow…

You can see it in action on my Instagram HERE
To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment on the inside circle and added an epoxy heart from the kit. I also cut another panel for the inside of the card to hide the adhesive from the rainbow spinner…
Using a long, border stamp from the stamp set, I created a matching envelope. I stamped it using a rainbow of Distress Oxide inks with my Misti…

I hope this inspires you to create an interactive card.

Well you can't go wrong with a rainbow spinner! So fun. I love making smaller cards. I think we all automatically think of A2 and sometimes smaller is better, and I love square cards. This one fits your rainbow and design perfectly 💕
