I used a few items in the kit along with THIS add on ballerina die to create a card to give to my niece at her dance recital….

The card is actually a spinner card. When she opens it, the ballerina will spin around. You can see it in action on my Instagram HERE.

To create this card, I die-cut THIS ballerina die twice from the pink shimmer cardstock in the kit. The die doesn’t cut all the way through the paper so I trimmed those areas with my scissors. I traced the die on to some cardstock with a pencil and cut out the entire shape to create a base to glue all the pieces on. I did this twice. and adhered the two die cut pieces together sandwiching a clear string between them.

I die-cut a rectangle shape from the center of a 5×7 card and white heat embossed the sentiment along the bottom of the front panel. I adhered the string to the top and bottom of the window of the card base and then sandwiched it with the black shimmer cardstock piece on top. I clear heat embossed the dance costume image from the kit’s stamp set on to the inside black shimmer cardstock to add a bit of interest. I finished off the card by adding a necklace using the pearls in the kit.

What a good idea. I'm a visual learner, so I'd like to see a video for how you did the string.
