Hello. I’m excited to be a part of the Hero Arts Blog Hop celebrating their April My Monthly Hero Kit…
This fabulous kit contains….
18 coordinating Frame Cuts dies
1 bottle Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops (Duck Egg Blue)
3 ink cubes (Lavender, Light Teal, Midnight)
2 half sheets Onyx shimmer cardstock (5.5″ x 8.5″)
2 half sheets Pink shimmer cardstock (5.5″ x 8.5″)
2 half sheets Tiffany Blue cardstock (5.5″ x 8.5″)
18″ long pearl string
You can find more information about the kit HERE.
To create this card, I die-cut THIS ballerina die twice from the pink shimmer cardstock in the kit. The die doesn’t cut all the way through the paper so I trimmed those areas with my scissors. I traced the die on to some cardstock with a pencil and cut out the entire shape to create a base to glue all the pieces on. I did this twice. and adhered the two die cut pieces together sandwiching a clear string between them.
I die-cut a rectangle shape from the center of a 5×7 card and white heat embossed the sentiment along the bottom of the front panel. I adhered the string to the top and bottom of the window of the card base and then sandwiched it with the black shimmer cardstock piece on top. I clear heat embossed the dance costume image from the kit’s stamp set on to the inside black shimmer cardstock to add a bit of interest. I finished off the card by adding a necklace using the pearls in the kit.
