SSS New Beginnings Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi. I’m thrilled to be part of Simon Says Stamp’s Blog Hop today to celebrate their newest release. My favorite stamp set from the collection is THIS one. It’s so playful and fun! I like making interactive cards and I thought this set would be perfect to make a simple version…

I stamped all of the images together using my MISTI and colored them with Copic Markers. I used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. I cut several of THESE stitched banners in coordinating colors and stamped the coordinating greeting under the image. I adhered the pieces to several different Lawn Fawn 4 Bar notecards. Using printed card bases makes these cards super fast to put together! I finished off  the design with a sprinkling of enamel dots.
Now for the fun part….I added one of THESE mini action wobblers to the back of each image so that when they’re tapped, they shake and dance! You can see it in action HERE on my Instagram. I’m so excited that the action wobblers are now available in a mini size. I’ve used the larger size often but for smaller images like these, the new mini size is perfect!
Here’s a closer look at the cards…

I used THIS black glaze pen for the eyes to make them pop.

I heat embossed the sentiments to make them stand out since these are such simple cards. For the black heat embossing, I stamp with THIS black ink and then add THIS clear embossing powder.

This little slice of bread image just makes me smile…

I used THIS shimmer pen to add some shine…

I hope you give these simple interactive cards a try. They are so fun to make and quick to put together.
There’s much more inspiration using the new release products…

These are just adorable cards, Heather! I love the stamps and you really took it up a notch by making them wobble! I made a card for my 5 year old grandson with wobblers on it and he loved the card so much he slept with it! Blesses a grandma's heart. And how exciting that they come in a mini size now! Thanks so much for sharing these great cards with us and for being part of this fun hop and giveaway.
