Hi there. I’m back today sharing a card I created with THIS April Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp…
I used the four mini ink cubes from the kit and swiped each across a piece of white cardstock to create a quick background. I stamped the tiny hearts image from the stamp set included in the kit on to the stripes of color using the same ink, but tripled stamped it with my MISTI. I die-cut THIS heart shape from the background and stamped a coordinating sentiment. I die-cut the background using THIS stitched border die.
I stamped the elephant using THIS ink and colored him using Copic Markers. I adhered the die-cut heart piece directly to a black notecard and adhered the background piece on top after adding foam behind it, creating dimension. After sandwiching the elephant image behind the white piece, I added google eyes to him. I finished off the card with some black hearts that I added THIS to for some shine.

I just had to tell you I love your card. I had to know how you created the colored stripes. How awesome and how simple and how fantastic. I love this card for kids cards!! I love that I can even do this!! Thanks for the eye-catching, eye-popping, vibrant card!!
