Stretching Your Dies

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is inspired by a card set created by the ridiculously talented, Jennifer McGuire. Not only is her work so inspiring, but she is the kindest person you’ll ever meet. You can see her card set and video HERE.  Jennifer die-cut all the dies nestled together for her projects and I tried the same technique using THIS Stitched Circle die from Simon Says Stamp

The die comes connected and I hadn’t cut it apart to separate all the circles yet, which worked in my favor because it made cutting several from THIS paper so quick and easy!

I cut all of the circles in half and then nestled them in rainbow order, adhering some down with foam adhesive on to a 4×4 top-folding white note card. I cut the clouds using THIS die from THIS felt by Papertrey Ink. The clouds seemed too large for this image, so I trimmed a bit off to make them work…another great way to stretch your dies!

I cut the Lawn Fawn “thanks” die from black cardstock and covered it with Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents for some shine. I adhered it below the rainbow, stamping a sentiment from THIS Neat and Tangled stamp set underneath using black ink. Super simple.

I hope this inspires you to look at your stamps in a new way. A big thank you to Jennifer for showcasing me on her blog….so blessed to call her a friend. I’m glad you could stop by and have a great day!
