Hot Foiling on Metallic Cardstock

Hello, crafty friends. Today’s card features hot foiling on metallic cardstock…

I recently shared a video HERE about hot foiling on black glossy cardstock. I loved the results that I tested it with white glossy cardstock as well. You can see that result HERE. I wanted to continue experimenting  on specialty cardstock so today’s card has hot foiling on Rose Gold Metallic Cardstock . I used Prism glimmer foil with the Delightful Dragonflies Hot Foil Plate. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and die-cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die. I white heat embossed a sentiment from the Sympathy Greetings Mix stamp set.

I die-cut the images again from plain rose gold cardstock and adhered them into the die-cut openings on to a card base. I adhered the hot foiled images on top of those only in the center so the wings could lift up. Here’s a closer look…

It gives such a cool effect in real life but is very hard to photograph with all that shine. I finished off the design with a sprinkling of die-cut hearts cut from he Mini Hearts Party die using holographic cardstock.

Thank you for stopping by and spending some time here today. I’m thankful for you.
