Hello, crafty friends. Recently, I shared a card set where I did hot foiling on black glossy cardstock. You can see those cards HERE. I love how they turned out so I decided to try it on white glossy cardstock…
To create these cards, I hot foiled the Eucalyptus Hot Foil Plate with silver and gold glimmer foil on white glossy cardstock pieces. I cut the panel larger than what I needed and used the Mini Slimline Rectangle die to cut out the panel. I share how to hot foil in THIS previous video along with some tips I do to get successful results.
I covered both mini slimline card bases with matte silver and gold cardstock. I used that same Mini Slimline Rectangles die set to cut those pieces.
I adhered the hot foiled piece on to the card and added a hot foiled sentiment using the Mini Everyday Sentiments hot foil set. I like this set because it has so many occasions as well as banner dies to cut out the sentiments.
I finished off the cards with a sprinkling of hearts that were die-cut from the Mini Hearts Party die using the same matte cardstock.
A closer look…
These were not easy to photograph, but the shine in real life from the white glossy cardstock is stunning. I hope you will give it a try.
Thank you so much for visiting today. Happy crafting!
