Hi there, crafty friends. I’m excited to be part of THIS blog hop celebrating THIS new Reverse Confetti release.
For all of the cards, I die-cut a panel using the Stitched Rectangles die and then die-cut the Tree die from the center and inlaid different cardstocks and specialty papers/materials. I added the Layered Peace die on top and finished the design with a star on top. These cards are so fun to mass produce because you can use lots of different materials for the die-cut inlay. Here are five examples…
PATTERNED PAPER
For the first card, I used several different designs from the Hello Holidays patterned paper pack.
FOILED BACKGROUNDS
I have lots of backgrounds leftover that I keep in a drawer and used one of my foiled ones for this card. It’s a great way to use those up and die-cut the portion that you like from the background.
STAMPING
You can also stamp patterns for the die-cut inlay. I stamped the patterns from the Patterned Panels stamp set.
ALCOHOL INK
This was another left over background I had that I wanted to use. Again, it’s great because you can die-cut out the portion you like.
FELT
I have lots of felt that I hardly ever use. I need to use it more because look at the fun texture it adds.
I hope I inspired you to use different mediums when doing die-cut inlay.
There’s much more inspiration to see using this new release…
