Valentine’s Day Card

Hello, crafty friends. Today’s card share is one I made for my hubby for Valentine’s Day…

THIS cute couple image from Rabbit Hole Designs was so fun to color. I colored it with Copic Markers to resemble us. For the background, I silver heat embossed THIS background image on to THIS watercolor card stock. I applied a variety of Distress Oxide inks to a piece of acetate and sprayed it with water. I laid the heat embossed piece on top and moved it around in the ink. I dried it and die-cut one of THESE hearts in the center, creating a window. I white heat embossed a sentiment from THIS stamp set on a black card stock strip. I added a few of THESE hearts around the sentiment.

For the inside, I die-cut that couple image using THIS die and added a black mat. I stamped another sentiment from hat same sentiment stamp set under it. Here’s a closer look…

I also decided to decorate a matching envelope…

I silver heat embossed the heart border image from THIS stamp set on one of THESE black metallic envelopes. I just love the shine it gives.

That’s all for today. Thanks for visiting.
