Hi, crafty friends. I enjoy making scene cards but sometimes I don’t have enough room on a standard size card. Today’s card is longer to fit this bee scene…
I knew I wanted to make a larger scene so I started with a longer card. I inked up the panel with THIS and THIS ink using THESE brushes. I flicked on some water for some texture and then die-cut THIS die several times. I adhered all the layers together and adhered the two pieces next to each other on the panel. I filled some of the honeycombs with THIS, THIS, and some with the negative die-cut pieces left over.
I stamped, colored THESE bees and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. After adhering the bees down, I added a white heat embossed sentiment from the same stamp set and die-cut it with THIS banner die. I added THIS to the bees wings used THIS to create the bee’s trails. I adhered the entire panel to a long note card.
I hope this inspires you to create a scene on your next project.
P.S. I’ve made a lot of bee cards recently. In case you missed them. You can click HERE, HERE, and HERE to check them out.
Thanks for visiting. You rock!
