Howdy, crafty friends. I’m back with even more inspiration using THIS card kit.
The specialty paper in the kit is gorgeous and I knew I wanted to use it for an ocean. I cut it using THIS die to resemble waves. I cut a card base down to 3.5 x 5 and used a variety of Distress Oxide inks to create a sunset for the background. I stamped one of the mermaid images from the kit’s stamp set and colored in the tail portion with THESE shimmer watercolors. I flipped the image upside down and adhered it behind the waves to make it look like a mermaid diving in the ocean. I finished off the card by stamping a coordinating sentiment and adding THESE to resemble bubbles.
