Sea Treasure Card Kit Inspiration Week-Day 2

Hello, crafty friends. I’m back today with more inspiration using THIS Sept. card kit from Simon Says Stamp…

I really like how the stamp set included in the kit has many smaller images. I thought it would be fun to use a few of them with THIS wreath builder stencil to create a fun syncronized swimming look with the sea critters. I started by stamping the turtle and then placed the remaining images and stamped them in the circle. The stencil is amazing and gives such precise placement. I used THIS ink and did some Copic coloring.

I created the card base from THIS die. I cut one from black card stock and one from white card stock (for the inside). I scored the back panel at the top to create a hinge and used THIS adhesive to secure it to the front panel. I white heat embossed a sentiment from the same set on a piece of black card stock cut with THIS die and adhered it in the center using THIS for dimension. I added THIS to the critter’s eyes, THIS to the fish, and THIS to the sea stars for some shine.

Thanks for joining me. I’ll be back soon with even more inspiration using THIS kit.
