Hi, crafty friends. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I thought I’d share what I created for the teachers at my son’s school. I use any Holiday as an excuse to spoil them. 🙂
I shared a similar idea HERE last year and they were a hit. This year, I added a few different things to the basket as well as the tags…
I’m currently obsessed with THIS stitching tag from My Favorite Things. I like that they give you stitching patterns HERE. I chose three of the St. Patrick’s day theme patterns for the tags. I used THIS cardstock to cut the tag out of because it’s thick and sturdy and can handle the stitching. I also found THIS tool to be helpful in removing all the centers of the die-cut holes. After stitching the design, I added THIS patterned paper to the top of the tag as well as THIS die-cut word along the bottom.
Here’s a closer look…
I found the baskets in the Easter section at Target as well as all of the contents. Want to know more about what’s inside? Click HERE. I shared a little video on Instagram.
I hope this has inspired you to try some stitching on your next project as well as creating a fun gift basket.
Thanks for joining me. Have a great day.
