SSS One of a Kind Release Blog Hop

Hello. I’m honored to be a part of the blog hop celebrating the One of a Kind release from Simon Says Stamp. Today, I’m sharing a customized gift idea using THIS adorable and clever new stamp set…

I thought the thumbprint art would be a perfect accent to add to a card set created for my son’s preschool principal. I stamped one of the animal images on to each background cut with THIS wonky rectangle die. I added a strip that I printed on my computer to customize the cards and used a strip of THIS scalloped frame die to add below the greeting. I adhered a piece of fun foam to the back of each background and added each to a Lawn Fawn Notecard. I used THIS black glaze pen to intensify the eyes on the critters.

I kept these super simple and kept the focus on the charming images…

You can see the entire One of a Kind collection HERE.

As a former PTA President, I love that you did this for the school Principal!!! They are so under appreciated! Love the cards!!! I still have a book by Ed Emberley I got when my son (now 16) was in Kindergarten showing how to make a ton of animals in different poses from fingerprints with easy doodles. When I volunteered in the elementary school library I learned that book was just 1 in a series. The possibilities for critters are just endless! My fav from this release though has to be the floral stamp set, Bouquet of Thanks. Whoever designs Simons flowers is amazing!
