Dry Embossing over Inking

Hello, crafty friends. Lately, I’m all about adding dry embossing over an inked background to add lots of texture and interest . Today’s card features that technique…

To create this card, I started by inking up stripes diagonally across a white A2 panel. I used THIS tape to tape off random strips and create a rainbow pattern. Next, I temporarily adhered the panel to a top folding card base and used THIS coordinating die to cut out the center of the panel and the front of the card base to create a window. I removed the panel and ran it through my die cut machine with THIS embossing folder. In the window opening, I lined up THIS coordinating sentiment and stamped it on the inside of the card. I finished off the design by adding a few of THESE hearts that I added THIS to for some shine.

Here’s a closer look…

I also embossed the flap of the envelope with the same embossing folder to tie everything tougher…
Thank you so much for visiting today. Happy crafting!
